AMES Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Services GesmbH AMES was founded as a fully specialized aviation engineering company in 2004. The founder Mr. Walter Starzacher as well as the highly skilled engineering staff, all had an aviation or airline industry background, assure that the very unique requirements of this particular market segment are guiding all undertakings.
AMES holds an AS/EN9100 certification and is listed in the international OASIS database since 2005. The AS/EN9100 system is used for development engineering projects of aerospace OEM and research and development projects.
In addition, AMES is a certified Design Organization in accordance with EASA Part21J rules (Approval No. EASA.J.21-299) since 2006, which approves AMES to design and certify EASA Supplemental Type Certificates as well as Minor Changes and Repairs to all aircraft and rotorcraft (CS/FAR 23/25/27 and 29) related to structures, electric, interior and galleys, avionics and avionics installations.
